Allotment of reserved symbol to Revolutionary Socialist Party under Para 10-General Election to Lok Sabha, 2019

1.  "Revolutionary Socialist Party" a registered recognized political party in the States of Kerala and West Bengal, having reserved symbol 'Spade and Stoker" in those states, has requested the Commission for concession under Paragraph 10 of the Election Symbols (Reservation and Allotment) Order, 1968 for allotment of the said symbol 'Spade and Stoker' to the candidates being set up by the said party at the current general election to the House of the People, 2019 for 8-Fatehgarh Sahlb ( SC), 13~Patiala, Parliamentary Constituencies in the State of Punjab and for 1-Chandani Chowk Parliamentary Constituency in NCT of Delhi.

2. The Commission has decided to extend the concession sought by the Political Party under Para 10 of Election Symbols (Reservation and Allotment) Order, 1968. Accordingly the candidate set up by  "Revolutionary Socialist Party" at the current general election to the House of the People, 2019 in 8-Fatehgarh Sahlb ( SC), 13~Patiala, Parliamentary Constituencies in the State of Punjab and 1-Chandani Chowk of Delhi shall be allotted the symbol 'Spade and 'Stoker'.

3. The Returning Officers may be informed that the candidates set up by "Revolutionary Socialist Party" in the aforesaid Constituencies are eligible for the allotment of the symbol 'Spade and Stoker' under paragraph 10 of the Symbols Order, 1968 subject to strict fulfillment of each of the provisions of paragraph 13 thereof.
