" Aam Aadmi Party", a recognized State party in the States of Punjab and NCT of Delhi having reserved symbol 'Broom' in said States, has requested the Commission for concession under Paragraph 10 of the Election Symbols (Reservation and Allotment) Order, 1968 for allotment of the said symbol 'Broom' to its candidates being set up by the party at the current bye-election to the Legislative Assemblies in the state of Goa in J-Mandram, 05-Mapusa and 22-Siroda Assembly Constituencies and in the state of Gujarat in 21-Unjha , Assembly Constituency. The Commission has decided to extend the concession sought by the party under paragraph 10 of the Election Symbols (Reservation and Allotment) Order, 1968. Accordingly, the candidate set up by "Aam Aadmi Party" at the current bye-election to the Legislative Assemblies in the state of Goa in 1- Mandram, 05-Mapusa, 22-Siroda Assembly Constituencies and in the state of Gujarat in 21-Unjba , Assembly Constituency shall be allotted the symbol 'Broom'.
The Returning Officers may be informed that the candidates set up by "Aam Aadmi Party" in the aforesaid Constituencies are eligible for the allotment of the symbol 'Broom' under paragraph 10 of the Symbols Order, 1968 subject to strict fulfillment of each of the provisions of paragraph 13 thereof.
